Acer Aspire 7720 motherboard battery pack

Hello, Hello, Hi

I would like to know if someone knows where the motherboard battery is located on an Aspire 7720. Every day, my clock is getting behind schedule; I’ve seen on different sites and forums that the battery should be worn out, so I’d like to change it. Thank you for your help.

Configuration: Windows Vista 32-bit Firefox 3.0.5 Aspire 7720 2GHz 3GB RAM

    The battery on an ACER 7720 laptop:

    Dismantle the large rear cover, the one that leads to the CPU, fan, graphics card and memory module.
    The battery is visible in the corner, next to the graphics card.
    It is blue and SOLDERED!!! to the motherboard :/
    Don’t expect to replace it as easily as on a PC motherboard.

    You’ll need a good soldering iron and a fair amount of courage to avoid frying the motherboard if you go off track :/

      Hi, I have the same problem as you, there’s no way to find this battery/pile… Did you find it—found it? I’ve taken everything apart but I can’t see it…

      Yes, I suspected as much, but behind the PC there are several parts that can be dismantled, so I’d like to know exactly which one. And if possible the type of battery so I can buy it in advance before disassembly.

    Well, you open the PC case and on the motherboard there should be a battery, you remove it and you put in the new one.
