Hello,
I have an Acer laptop "Aspire 7720G" with an Intel Core 2 Duo running Vista... so when I tried to turn my computer back on, I saw the message: "no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key"...
I checked the BIOS and the boot sequence seems correct! with my hard drive first...
What should I do?
Should I try to boot it?

To fix the issue, remove the battery, then replace the battery and press F2 to enter the BIOS. Then go to the BIOS and UEFI section, configure it to latency, and press F10 then Enter. Thank you, bye.

following a bug (nothing was responding on the screen), I unplugged my computer from the power socket to turn it off. Upon restarting it, it remains stuck on a black page with the message: no boot device available; strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility

Appuyez simultanément sur Ctrl + Alt + Suppr. J'ai eu le même problème avec mon ordinateur, c'est un DELL et Vista a été réparé ! J'espère que cela vous aidera !  ++

Nanababa > I had the same issue with my Dell, try as I mentioned above to press Ctrl + Alt + Delete at the same time and normally your computer should restart properly and no data will be lost!

Hello, I was on my Windows 8 PC, using Movie Maker (a Windows video editing software from video editing). I went to watch a movie on TV while everything was loading, and when I came back, the PC displayed this: no bootable device -- please restart system

I restarted it, and it stayed for 10 seconds on: toshiba leading innovation
and then it showed me:

I went into the boot settings, and I found nothing (ctrl+alt+delete) doesn't work
please help me, I would like to recover at least all my backups; it took me 2 months to create them :'(
