Hello,
I’m having trouble reading and transferring photos, videos, and audio from a micro SD card (with its adapter) from a mobile phone to a PC Acer E380-GB7L.
On the tower there are different slots for inserting cards of various formats, including the SD card.
When I insert it, in my Control Panel I don’t see any hardware connecting.
How do I proceed?
Thanks everyone for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.5

Hello,
I’m writing to inform you that I’m having a problem with the SD card reader as well.
Indeed, since yesterday, when I insert the SD card from my digital camera into my Acer Aspire X1700 PC, it isn’t recognized. It’s the same with other SD cards.
In Device Manager, under the USB Controllers tab, it shows “Unknown device.”
Could you please help me?
Thanks in advance.

In general, to read a micro SD, you need to use the cache that comes with it.
However, some devices do not read SD cards larger than 2 or 4 GB.

Hello,
First of all I thank Boulet-54 and GINTO 5 for their help.
Note that I do indeed have the delivered cache (micro SD support) and it is a 1GB card.
Moreover, when inserting it into the proper slot, I still don’t see the card’s connection appear on the configuration panel!!!! where should I go to detect it?
I don’t know where to go to see what’s on my card and to transfer files.....
Thanks again for helping me!!!

Yes you may be right but I know that 2GB works. Right now I’m making DS cartridges where I put multiple games inside the same cartridge and for that I use lots of micro SDs. The 2GBs work but maybe now he doesn't know where to go to see the files inside
I don’t remember anymore I’m on Windows Vista now =S
