Hello dear info addicts.

I have a little problem regarding Web Access connection.

I just configured Outlook Web Access at home via Outlook 2003, to have my office emails at home.
However, the synchronization of emails between Outlook 2003 and Exchange 2000 on my server has almost completely happened, let me explain:

Outlook 2003 has retrieved ALL the emails present on the server to put them on my personal PC (in Personal folders, so in .pst) and as a result, I no longer have the emails on my office Outlook...

Question:

1) How do I recover my emails at the office (I was thinking of copying the .pst file from my PERSONAL PC to put it on my OFFICE PC)?
2) Is there a synchronization issue between the two (Outlook 2003/Exchange 2000)?
3) What do I do now????????

I won't hide that quick help is more than welcome ^_^

Thank you very much, friends...

Hello everyone,

After several hours trying to configure Outlook 2007 to retrieve my work emails, I'm asking for advice.
There are quite a few forums where people have managed to configure it, but they don’t explain the steps to take.
So please, could you tell us ignorant ones like me how to set up Outlook to retrieve emails when using WebAccess (address at HTTPS://.....).
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
actually, if you use Outlook Web Access to connect to the messaging system while being outside the domain
if you want to connect to your messaging with a thick Outlook client (regardless of the version) configured as mentioned in the previous posts, you need to be on a machine in your company's domain or have an external machine but with an active VPN connection to your domain.

Thank you very much for this clear explanation.

As I do not have a VPN connection, I will settle for web access.

Thanks again.
