Hello,
I downloaded the French dictionary for LaTeX (text file), I placed it in the WineEdit dictionary, but it's still not working!! Could you please guide me in detail on how to achieve this? Thank you in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Firefox 3.0.5

    Hello,
it works for Winedit 5. But I can't find (dictionary options) on Winedit 6 and Winedit 7?!!!!
Is there a TeXnician or TeXpert here?
    Thanks in advance

    1. Download the dictionary from [www.winedt.com] (page provided by Eric)
    2. Create the folder "français" in WinEdt\dict\ and place the fr.dic file in it
    3. In WinEdt:
    - go to Options, Dictionary
    - right-click then click on insert
    - under dictionaries, type "français"
    - right-click on Browse and double-click on fr.dic (in the corresponding directory)
    - click on Enabled and Load on Start
    - click on "add new words" so that a word not in the file is saved once WinEdt is closed
Note: labeling next to Enabled may prevent the dictionary from loading
