Add a line break after \paragraph in LaTeX Solved

Question

Hello,I wanted to know if it is possible to insert a line break after using the command \paragraph{text} in LaTeX.Indeed, the text is written on the same line and using a command like \\ or 
ewline does not work...I managed to insert a line break by doing \paragraph{text \\} but that also adds line breaks in the table of contents and the line break is greater than normal in the text...Thank you in advance if a LaTeX pro can help meAvsee

Hello. I'm not a pro, but it seems to me that \ should only be used at the end of a line within a specific type of text. I think in your case, the simplest and cleanest approach is to redefine the paragraph command. I'm not really sure how to do it, but something like this: enewcommand{\paragraph}{\paragraph{#1}

On my side, I use:  \paragraph{toto} ~\ \vskip3mm \hskip7mm  This allows to go to the next line (with ~\), to skip the desired space (3mm for example) and to indent by 7mm for example.

Afterwards, Char Snipeur is right, it's cleaner to redefine \paragraph. But it can come in handy ^^
