XCOPY command

Hello,
When using the command XCOPY c:/users d:/users /e /v /h /k /w
on MS-DOS (cmd) under W8.1, I get the following error: "invalid number of parameters".
After removing each parameter one by one, I still get the same error.
Can someone provide a solution for this issue?
