Partition issues

Solved
Hello,

having purchased a new computer built by myself, I installed a new 4TB drive, the problem is that it is in MBR and not in GPT. Having already gone through forums to find out how to proceed, either through the disk manager, everything remains greyed out, or through DiskPart which tells me "Clean is not allowed on the disk containing the active boot, system, page file, crash dump, or hibernation volume."

I find myself stuck with a 2TB disk that is actually 4TB. Any ideas?

  1. You didn't take an SSD to install the system, so you have one solution left: reinstall Windows. Boot into the BIOS to switch to UEFI mode. Start from your Windows installation media (USB or DVD). Delete the volume(s) and then install.

    1. My Windows is on a 250GB SSD that is directly connected to my motherboard; this is my first time using this system.
I would like to use my 4TB for data storage.

    3. @MoiYou messed up during the installation. Your Windows is installed, partly on the SSD and partly on the HDD. Go to Disk Management and post us a screenshot of your drives.
