Inactive printer

Thank you very much for the quick response; actually, the printer was printing Word files, but not PDF files (???); since I had changed some default settings, I thought I might have made a mistake, but I saw on the internet that this could happen when a cartridge is empty (which was the case); I replaced the cartridge... and it works!!

Have you tried reinstalling the printer and resetting the printer?
