Arrow in InDesign

Solved
Hello,
Can we have pre-made arrows in InDesign, or do we need to create them ourselves?
I’m talking about this style of arrow: "vertical process arrows"!

For example: https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/conception-plate-botes-de-processus-de-flches-tapes-39743668.jpg
If I could have the same ones from top to bottom that would be perfect!

Thank you

  1. Use the guides that you drag down from the rules on your page (drag and drop)... At the top left, you can specify a precise position in x and y..

Then activate the magnetism of the guides, it will snap your line to the guides and the nodal weights at the intersections...

    1. Thank you! However, how do you remove the guides once you no longer need them?
And how do you activate the snapping?

    2. You select it (make sure to do it outside of a surface or when it is on a line), it changes color, and you press the delete key. (check that they are not locked in the menu below)

Magnetism can be found in the menu "View/Grid and Guides/Guide Magnetism" (or by the corresponding keyboard shortcuts)

    3. Indeed, thank you very much for your help! :)
However, x and y allow me to have a precise position of the object in question, but not to have a precise measurement of the angle... if, for example, I want an angle of 45°, is that possible?

    4. No, not in InDesign (it's possible in Illustrator), but it's easy to define a 45° angle from an isosceles right triangle (the sum of the angles in a triangle always being 180°).

    5. Ah, that's not possible in InDesign ^^ too bad! We'll have to be creative then ;) thanks for your answer anyway!!
