What is Access runtime?

Solved
Pekin -
Hello,

I have some questions about Access: What is the Access runtime in relation to Access itself? Does it require a special installation like Access? Can it run macros?

Thank you for your answers!

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 7.0
