How to open a Nokia 2680?

Hello,

I just ordered a Nokia 2680 mobile phone for my son for Christmas and I can't seem to open it to check if it's working properly. The instructions say to press on the top of the back cover to open it, but that's impossible. I'm afraid of breaking the casing; also, it's a slide so the other side slides but absolutely not the back cover... THANK YOU for your help, it's silly but still, I find the opening system a bit difficult! Does anyone have any advice to give me?

Basically, it's like this: the cover has to slide down, but it's not easy to do because it slides poorly. At least the phone won't lose its battery by itself!
I do it like this: with my right hand, I push the upper part of the cover (black) down, and with my left hand, I hold the support (light gray) at the bottom of the phone on which the cover slides

Hello,

I had the same difficulties; not following the recommended method, you need to place the phone between your thumb and index finger and with the index finger push down. To close it, lay it flat and push upwards with your thumb. There might be an easier way, but I haven't looked. Be careful, the mounting legs are very fragile, and the seller won't want to take it back. In case of breakage, you need to search online for: battery cover, device model; it costs €6.

Yes, I have the same one. You need to open the cover by pushing, then remove the battery. At the top, there's a small tab that you pull to insert the SIM card. .......... I can't manage to insert the SD card?

I have this phone too, for a few hours now ... and it's impossible to put the SIM in because the case is unremovable. I've tried all the techniques, the one that works best being to throw it with all my strength against the wall. A bit of the case came off ..^^.
Now I just need to say the Hail Mary, in the meantime, if someone could clearly explain how to remove this case, because Nokia seems to not give a f**k.

Regarding this phone, we are supposed to be able to record the radio with it... how do we do that?

An alternative to the wall: try using the handle of a tablespoon. The opening is quite small: 2 to 3mm. Then the cap can be removed. A successful operation after multiple attempts, some big bumps, and lots of laughs, especially while reading the forum. Good luck!

In fact, there's nothing simpler except that the manual explains it very poorly. You have to do the same manipulation as they describe, except you need to press at the bottom while holding the phone from the top anyway, but you have to push where the three little lines are at the bottom of the Nokia on the back, and you press on it and it goes by itself!
