Displaying the infinity sign Solved/Closed

Hello,
the problem is that I can't display the infinity sign
I've looked everywhere and I can't find anything, thank you for your response
the tips always work great!!!Configuration: Windows Vista

alt + 8734 (on the numeric keypad with the Num Lock activated without releasing the alt)

In the character map, the code "U+9DEF" at the bottom means the code to display the character; in our case, for infinity, it is "U+221E," which in decimal gives us, I give it to you, Emile, 8734 => so alt + 8734

That said, it doesn't work everywhere! I can do it on this page, but in my address bar it works

Finally, you can use Charmap (Start / Run / Charmap), then search for infinity in Arial!

Use the character map.

I’m giving you the formula for XP; I assume it must also exist under Vista:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map.

You will find the symbol: ∞

There must be system tools under Vista, right?

In the character map, you locate the 2 and then go straight down, you'll come across the sign ∞

You click on it, then on Select, then on Copy, and you paste it wherever you want in the text.

alt + the key ? gives you the infinity symbol it seems not to display on the forum but it works on my computer. (on mac laptop)
