GUITAR PRO 5 PROBLEM

hi,

I have a problem with gp5, I installed and uninstall it several times thinking there might be a problem with the installation. Actually, I have no sound when I load a score. I have enabled the MIDI (RSE) and installed the RSE sound banks properly, but nothing works; if anyone knows the trick to get this damned software to work, that would be great, especially since with version 5 I can no longer reinstall version 4 (I also get error messages (address problem)).

Thanks for a little help for a desperate guitarist!!!!

Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

    Hi!

Well, it seems I’m not the only one to receive messages like "GP5.exe address violation" or "floating-point operation incorrect."

I’ve searched everywhere to resolve this issue; I should note that I’m using version 5.2 and I also attempted to reinstall but without success.

I contacted Guitar Pro support; they asked me to download Guitar Pro from their site. What’s the point if you already have the CD?
I’d like to know if it’s a registry problem. Since my virus infection, I’ve had to clean some registry entries a bit too aggressively, like "help and support, machine debug" (something like that).
It’s very frustrating; I can’t work on my compositions anymore, whether it’s the keyboard, the guitar, the bass, or the drums!

So, is there a savior among us?
