Hello,
first of all, I would like to say that this is a very nice forum, very helpful
well, my problem is that I just bought an N95 (locked to Orange but I don't think that matters) and I find myself unable to turn off T9
it's not that I dislike this typing mode, but I type 10 times faster in normal mode, not to mention that entering contacts into the phone is completely impossible since they're nicknames :s
so I hope you can help me, I look forward to your responses, thanks in advance, and have a good continuation ;)
PS: sorry if there was already a topic on this subject, if so, I couldn't find it
PS2: sorry for the mistakes ...

One for all and all for CCM, it's lame I know..:)
I admit that I was also really annoyed to only have T9 for texts... my dad is traveling in Cuba, and calling at €5 a minute is a pain.
So, a friend helped me: right next to the green call button, there's a key with a little pencil. Press it (while you're on a new message and not on the recipient's name) and go to "predictive text." Click on it, and then click on "disable."
Now, you just have to go back to your message and write it out calmly...
CATCH YOU!
