Hello,

I installed Dreamweaver and I made a mistake when entering the activation key. Unfortunately, it's an existing key!!! So the following message appears: "license expired" every time I uninstall and reinstall Dreamweaver, I no longer have the option to enter my key. Please help me!!

PS: problem solved for Windows users, but not on Mac
Configuration: MAC OS 10.4 Safari

Here is the cache file to delete: library/Application support/adobe/adobe PCD/ cache/ cache.db
This will reset your activation.

Thank you proxy for your help...
However, I can't seem to find the cache.db file
The adobe PCD folder does not exist in my case.

On my iMac it worked well, just by deleting cache.db I was able to re-register an official serial.
However, on my MacBook I can't find the adobe PCD folder...
Any idea where it could be hiding otherwise?? I've searched a bit but there’s so much stuff, especially folders from CS3, that I must admit I'm a bit lost...
Thanks in advance.

In fact, in Finder, it's not located by starting from the "home" (which is found in the left sidebar) but rather by starting from "Macintosh HD"…?!
No idea why, but the main thing is that I found it ;)

I have exactly the same problem!
I thought I had installed the full version correctly (and not the 30-day one) but today a message appeared saying "license expired" ... then I did something where it asked me to accept the terms of the user agreement, I accepted. And it stops there, then nothing more... --' I also tried removing the cache file but it doesn’t change anything.
I really want to get this software back, it’s the best! =/
I hope you guys have a solution! o=)

Thank youuuuuuuuuuu, it works :)
I found the folder by going through Mac and not through the sidebar... it worked even though I don't really know why.

I have the same problem; even after uninstalling and reinstalling, I still have the same issue. The fact is that the first key you installed was a beta version key, and even after uninstalling, it keeps the backup of that key.
You need to disable this key before uninstalling, then reinstall with a new key, and everything should go back to normal.
However, I haven't found the location to disable this key.

P.S.: Some will advise you to download clean script cs4 to completely uninstall the faulty software, but that is not the issue here.
I'll keep you updated if I find the solution.
In the meantime, good luck and Merry Christmas =).

lol I know well, but when I uninstall and reinstall, a pop-up appears immediately: "license expired" and I can't even enter a key even after completely uninstalling and reinstalling the program.

here's the same problem on Windows that was resolved http://www.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich 3785613 activation of adobe cs3 web premium

Hello

I have a friend who had this problem; she was using a demo version of CS3, and when she wanted to upgrade to the full version, she couldn't check "Illustrator" in the installation prompt (on the grounds that it was already installed, even though she had removed it)...

By doing a spotlight search, I found a bunch of little Adobe files that I deleted. Afterwards, no problem, the Illustrator box was selectable.

So do a search to see if there are any leftover junk files that make your computer think your previous version is still valid?

(I don't have much against piracy, but the fools who post keys on forums and block the versions that others buy are really frustrating… ask Adobe if your key is still valid; otherwise, it means you got hacked ><)
