Problem with M3 DS Simply

Hello,
I have some games that don't run on my M3 DS Simply.
Either the screen stays white and the game does not launch, or I get the following message: "unable to access save data. please turn off the console and reinsert the DS card."

I just downloaded the update 1.14 from the following address (found on this forum): http://avbox.ovh.org/index.php?2007/12/29/132-firmware-m3-ds-simply

On my DS, in the bottom left at startup, it says v1.04. Did I possibly do the update wrong? Could my problems come from that???

    I just found an update (v1.14) that works and now all my games are running! Yes!!!

    I think there was an issue with the other update and it was actually v1.04 instead of v1.14.
