Hello,
I just downloaded Devil May Cry 4, I have no issues with the installation, I put the crack, I launch the game and then a window opens with the title Fatal Error and it says D3DERR_INVALIDCALL: bla bla bla bla, well I don't understand the problem, so I updated my graphics driver as well as my DirectX and it's still not working :s

Thanks for your help ;)
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.4 Pent D 915 ASUS P4KC 2GB CL3 800MHz 9800GX2 Antec Ni Hundred

It's a bit normal that DMC4 doesn't work; your graphics card is running at 800MHz and the game requires 2GHz or 2000MHz, lol. So look for patches or give up, bye and good luck.

Lower the Windows resolution, that should work.
Then increase the game's resolution, exit, and you can set the same resolution back on Windows.

Hello everyone, I just bought Devil May Cry 4 and I installed it on my computer perfectly, but when I try to launch the game, an error message appears. I searched all the other forums to find an answer, but I couldn't find the solution to my question.
      Here's the error message:

      Fatal error
      ERROR3: failed to initialize DirectX10

I have Vista on my PC, it's one of the latest Acer models and I'm really frustrated :@ because this game is really great.

Please help me, thank you so much, I'm on vacation and I'm stuck at home because I just broke my leg and I can't go out.

LOL, you said something ridiculous. My RAM has a frequency of 800MHz, plus my crappy CPU still has a clock speed of 2.8GHz. Furthermore, if a 9800GX2 is not powerful enough for DMC 4, I'll just LOL hard. So, do your research beforehand, thanks :) and learn to read a configuration :) That said, thanks for responding even if it's wrong :)
