Meaning of the terms Tx and Rx

Hello,

Can you explain to me what the term Tx|Rx means for an Ethernet network because in a catalog I see that the Rx|Tx detection is automatic so I would like to know what Tx and Rx correspond to.

    Actually, Tx and Rx stand for Transmission and Reception.
