Hello everyone, here is my problem:
I would like my messaging service to require me to identify myself when I check it (which is obviously not the case at the moment).
Even when I go to (Google for example) and type: (Orange then my messaging), I end up directly on it without any identification request.
However, I would prefer to be prompted to identify myself. (This way, when I have people over, they can't check my messages).
I am with Orange.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Thierry

Hi Chonchon
I found the solution:
I had to create another address.
Otherwise it wouldn't work!
With just one address, you are automatically recognized. That's why I had to create a second one.
And now, after creating a second address, when I click on the shortcut on my desktop to access my emails, since I have 2 addresses I have to log in.
Of course, I have one address that I'm not using, but that's not a big deal. I had no choice.
Talk to you later and thanks!

Well, that's exactly the problem, Chonchon. I've never been asked for identification codes.
I click twice on the desktop shortcut and I go straight to it without identifying myself.
So I don't see where this famous page is.
Tell me where it's located if you want because I have no idea what you're talking about.

I did what you told me and a window opens telling me this:
You cannot end your identification because you are automatically recognized when you use your Orange internet access. Go to the home page
So I still don't know what to do.

I found the solution for ORANGE:
Just open your messaging (on Orange), click on "My Preferences" (below received and sent), then click on "create new mailbox" in the user account section. Fill in the details, choose your email address, and you're done.
Log out of the main account, log in to the 2nd account (the one you just created)
/!\ avoid checking save password /!\
log back into the main account and you will see that thanks to another computer, you are only logged into your messaging on the computer where you entered the codes. The other computer with the Orange page will display "identify yourself"

Yeah, not really all by myself, I got a bit of help anyway!
But we're here to share our ideas and help each other out.
So all advice is good to take, you just have to sort through it a bit and find the right solution.
Thanks to you
See you!

Can you help me? I have the same problem and I don't know what to do anymore. I called customer service who was unable to help me and offered me a technician intervention for 100 euros. I've really tried everything and nothing works, I'm still being recognized automatically... and on all the computers in the house!!! Thank you for replying to me.
