Hello,
I bought a JVC GZ-MG330 Everio camcorder which satisfied me, but after returning from vacation I want to recover the photos and videos, however my computer does not recognize this device even though I installed the CD that came with it. I can't retrieve any items currently. I searched the web to see if I could download the driver online directly, but I found nothing. Is there another trick? Could someone help me?
Thank you very much
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

hello, go here for a manual search:
    http//:www.touslesdriver.com
    Otherwise do this link here:
    http//:www.touslesdriverdetection.com
(and run the detection, it will detect your peripherals, of course your device must be connected, but you must have the driver on your installation CD provided with it, read the manual otherwise)
If none of that works, do this in Windows: Start/Control Panel/Printers and other devices/ and there you will see at the top left: "Add a new hardware" in the column. a window will open, go to the hardware tab at the top, then next and it will search for the new hardware connected, of course as before your device must be connected. Then you do yes I have already connected my device and next. If it doesn't find it, indicate what you want in the list it offers you and finally follow the procedure. Alright, good luck.

Hey, hello again!!! I went to (T.L.D.), the site I told you about earlier, so here’s the direct link hoping it’s the right one, because it’s impossible to access the JVC site, it keeps crashing. Otherwise that would be the best solution. But this should work with this:
    https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=23&v_code=21920
    Did that work????

Otherwise go here to download the manuals from JVC or to ask them a question, or to search for your driver.
    https://fr.jvc.com/

Does that suit you, does it work???

Thank you very much for your response, but this isn’t working and I also can’t access the JVC site right now.
I will first uninstall the software and reinstall it. Sometimes you never know. On the other hand I can see the file clearly but, well, nothing I can do.
If you have another suggestion, another idea to obtain a driver for me, I’d welcome it.
      Thanks again

Please contact the store where you bought it or use the link I provided earlier:
    https://fr.jvc.com/

As you say, your uninstall/reinstall solution seems to be the best. Otherwise, you can start the computer/ workstation / go to the CD of your camcorder / then right-click it and choose "explore". Check if you can see an installation file, like for installing software, and right-click it to see if it says for example: "setup.exe". The "exe" indicates it is indeed an installation file. Then double-click it and follow the steps it proposes if it is the "driver", often named "driver", you will see at some point, for example: "would you like to install the driver gz-mg 330 on this computer". If you see that it has nothing to do, cancel or test, then you’ll see if it works because you can always remove it later or search elsewhere. In exploring the CD, see if you see a folder named driver or pilote and choose the correct "exe" or "setup" depending on your operating system, such as Windows XP, or Vista for example, and perform the installation. I know it's not fun, but I would look in the CD manual, they should certainly indicate it somewhere in the menu or describe the installation to do. I’m looking on my side and I’ll tell you if I have any updates, something fresh, a solution...
    Go on, good luck.

PS: are you sure you’ve plugged it in correctly where it’s supposed to be, and if not, check the manual.

Thank you very much for your help. Tomorrow afternoon I’m not working, so I’ll be able to look into the problem seriously. Review of the notice, uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Okay, I’ll update you with any developments and thank you for your precious help. For your information, I visited the driver site to have the possibility of analysis, but the problem is my_config tries to install its software and it is rejected after a while, so I cannot proceed with the analysis as you suggested. To be continued.
