Automatically open .pdf in Adobe Reader

aller sur "start", taper "pdf", ensuite clic droit sur un des fichiers, choisir "open with" et choisir "default program" et ensuite sélectionner "adobe reader, et voilà!"

I can't read a PDF with Adobe Reader. The following message appears on a blank page: "An error occurred in Adobe Reader. Close Adobe Reader and try again." I uninstalled and then re-downloaded Adobe Reader.

Try --> Foxit Reader which is much lighter, set it as default. To get French on Foxit Reader, go to this --> link, in select product, choose version 3.3.0.0430, right-click on download lang_fr_fr.xml , save the target as, browse to place it in the directory --> C\program files\foxit software\foxit reader. After that, open Foxit Reader, tools, preferences or settings, languages, check: choose language, select French and OK.

if the program is not on the list, you should be able to "browse" and find Acrobat Reader
and then check the box "always open this type of file with"

I also can't automatically launch PDFs with Adobe! (this time with Adobe 8)

The specific function for this in the properties (as explained by UsulArrakis) doesn't work!
The target software (AcroRd32.exe) doesn't show up in the window !!

I'm therefore forced to open Adobe on one side to drag my documents over! Nothing too serious indeed... but still a bit annoying because I need a shortcut on the desktop!! (and that's unfortunate)
