Trojan horse generic 11.aokw

Bonjour,

Merci!

Excuse moi pour pas respondre aux francais... ;-)

My girlfriend owns an Acer Aspire , which comes preinstalled with many of those little games, and just today got the same message from AVG (one for each of the installed games), I'm almost 100% sure that this is no virus but a wrong alert from AVG. Just select "Ignore" and wait for AVG to send out new virus definitions which hopefully don't show that wrong message...

Au revoir,
George

With exactly the same machine ACER ASPIRE (under VISTA), my AVG free edition has detected TODAY also (!) some (qty 19) Trojan horse Generic 11.AOKW treats into the ACER Gamezone console directory of the preinstalled games.... I have uninstalled all the games files and the two corresponding directory. New AVG scan is OK.

It seems all related to games. As I said, mine was not pre-installed but it's a game anyway. I'm not scanning with Malwareytes to see further more.

Hello George,

Mine is a Compaq... I tought the same thing as you.... I hope we are right but it doesn't give us access to our game. It's a game I bought at Oberon media, it's not build-in game... When I came back today, an other file was corrupted by the same Trojan as per AVG. I really hope that we are right. Thanks!

Hello,

I have the same message on a pc that I mounted myself, I wrote to AVG, I expect the answer. In the meantime, I put a rule in AVG to not analyze my game directories. I removed the desktop icon, and I created a shortcut since. EXE of the game and it works.

I just had the response from Grisoft, the latest updates apparently has corrected the problem, it is the BD Virus 270.7.6/1710, do the update and this message does trojan generic11.AOKW. I leave it to the person who opened the topic to close it.
