Change the HTC diamond settings

Hello,
I just bought an HTC Touch Diamond (Orange operator) and I would like to change the configuration to the original one.
When I go to the HTC website, I can't download the software.
What should I do??

    I was in the same situation as you, although I found the appearance of Orange rather beautiful and original (I must be the only one lol), the new HTC ROM offers:

    ° Perfect speed and fluidity of TouchFlo 3D
    ° Issues with accents in YouTube are fixed
    ° Memory usage reduced by 10%
    ° Better management and sensitivity for 3G
    ° Camera functioning more efficiently
    ° Faster booting
    ° New version of the Opera browser
    ° Automatic operator configuration revised
    ° Improved font styles
    ° Alarm possible in vibrate mode

    To do this, you just need to flash it.

    The procedure to follow to switch from an Orange/SFR/Bouygues ROM to the HTC ROM:

    1. Unlock your Diamond CID

    > Download this zip file: Hard SPL Diamond by Olinex (http://www.mediafire.com/file/yryl50zrj14/Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex.zip/file
    > Extract this zip archive on your PC
    > Connect the Diamond to the PC under Active Sync
    > Launch the file ROMUpdateUtility.exe from the PC

    > Follow the instructions...
    > Wait for the procedure to finish

    2. Install the HTC ROM

    > Download this file: HTC Diamond - ROM 1.93.406.1 (http://www.patounemedia.net/?dl_id=51
    > Connect the Diamond to the PC under Active Sync
    > On your PC, launch the file RUU_Diamond_HTC_FRA_1.93.406.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship.exe
    > Wait for the file to decompress and follow the installation wizard:

    > Follow the instructions...
    > Wait for the procedure to finish

    After a nice little reboot, there you go!

      during the first phase, my PC tells me
      error 202 connection
      check your PDA is connected to the usb cable,

      of course, my phone is connected, I don't really know how to solve this problem, maybe I missed a step?

      Thank you for your super clear and precise explanations. Now that my Diamond has become HTC again and is no longer Orange, I can breathe. I felt very constrained in the configuration that Orange imposes on its customers.

    Good evening, I did exactly what was needed and it's great!!!!
    I finally lost Orange for the HTC Black, however when I press start I get a "big" weird thing, I don't have the list in small and is that normal and how can I get it????
    Also, it's impossible to get internet even though I have the MMS and it's well configured, so no TV with my illimited plan, is that normal? I’m counting on you, thank you

      What did you really do? Did you flash your ROM? If so, and if you have SFR, you need to put back a special Illimitics ROM...

    Hello,

    A few months ago, I came across this forum to change the interface of my Orange phone and revert to the original one. I succeeded thanks to the explanations provided above that helped me a lot, and so far I was very happy. Unfortunately, my phone has to go to the repair service tomorrow because the touchscreen is not working anymore!!

    I would like to know how to return to the Orange version because they told me my phone would be analyzed to determine the cause of the malfunction, and I'm worried they will void my warranty due to the flashing!

    Please help me, they are coming to pick it up tomorrow morning!! Thank you.

      Hello,
      No worries on that side, I sent my flashed Diamond to the repair service, it didn't pose any problem for the warranty, but they put the SFR ROM instead of the original HTC ROM.
      If I'm not mistaken, there is only one repair center for the three operators ORANGE, SFR, and BT.

    Hello, when I launch hard spl on my mobile, I see the icon start to spin, then the phone shuts down in a gradient and I can't do hard spl. I have an Orange ROM that I want to remove, and the phone has more than 50% battery. Thank you.

        Go to the unofficial Diamond forum, there are special Illymitic ROMs for SFR.

    Hello, thank you first for the manipulation, it worked without any problem

    but now I have a big connection issue! I can't connect to the internet anymore while before under the SFR ROM I had no problem!
    Can you help me configure my connection

    PS: it's my girlfriend's phone and I did the manipulation secretly so if she notices that it doesn't work anymore I'm dead lol

      Change your ROM to install a custom Illimitics, go to the unofficial HTC forum and you'll find what you're looking for.

    The process is perfect and easy to do.
    However, I can no longer connect to the internet via Wi-Fi either!!
    The connection to my Freebox network is fine but there's no internet.

    I also did this manipulation, and I have the same problem, web browsing impossible (wifi), yet I can check the weather, Google Maps, GPS.
    But when I try to visit a site via Opera, it says Network Problem (in white on a red background).

    Please help me (us), I beg you. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

      in "start", "settings", "connections" then "wireless network" tab "power mode" you need to choose "best performance", and the internet should work!

    First of all, thank you for all your replies, it's really nice of you.

    Now, about my problem ;-)

    I bought a HTC TOUCH from a friend (not a Diamond) but a TEN ref: ELF0001.

    He was with Orange, I’m with Bouygues, so we called Orange Customer Service together to unlock the phone. It’s done, the phone works great, I can receive and make calls and send SMS.

    I tried to connect to WIFI on my Freebox (since I don’t have an internet plan), I’m connected (I can see it says CONNECTED), but when I launch Opera, it tells me that I’m not connected to the internet.

    Additionally, when I go to settings, connection, connection configuration, it asks me to choose the country (France), that’s fine, then it asks for the operator, but there I don’t have a choice, it only shows Orange, and I don’t know how to fix this issue.

    Can you help me???
