Negative power

Hello,

I have a TI 82 and I need to know how to do negative powers and fractions. I am a high school sophomore, thank you for your responses.

    To do 10 to the power of -2, for example, you should not use the - that you use for subtraction but the key "(-)" which is located to the right of the ".".
    So you type:
    10 ^ (-) 2
    There you go.
