Hello,

I have to solve a problem for my son that's quite tricky ...
Here's the statement:

My number of thousands is 399

The thousands digit is the same as the units digit

If you add a hundred, I stay below 400,000, but if you add two, I become above 400,000

The sum of all my digits is a number that ends with 1

Who am I???

Honestly, I'm stuck .... I need help!!!

Thanks in advance ....
Configuration: Mac OS X Firefox 3.0.1

My thousands digit is 399: so 399 xxx

The thousands digit is the same as the units digit: so 399 xx9

If you add a hundred, I remain below 400,000, but if you add two, I become above 400,000: so 399 8x9

The sum of all my digits is a number that ends in 1: so 3 for the tens.

So: 399 839!

PS: don't tell your teacher or your parents that you got help!!!

Good evening,

Your question should be asked on another forum, as it has absolutely nothing to do with the Mac OS forum...

But, it was found too quickly, so... the answer is 399839

Have a nice evening.

I could also use help with my computer skills ;-)

I was actually on a math help forum and not for mac OS X ...

But it just goes to show that there are some benefits ....

Thank you

Note: You are indeed on a MAC OS site that has nothing to do with math.....
