Changer bouton au passage de la souris

Bonjour a tous,

Je suis en train de creer mon site via NVU et je bloque vraiment sur deux problemes :

1.
J aimerais que les bouton de fond sur ma barre de menu changent de couleur lorsqu on passe la souris sur le lien concerne. J ai deja cree le bouton secondaire mais je n arrive pas a les associer. J ai pas mal rechercher sur le site et essaye quelques codes mais ca ne fonctionne pas. Voici le code que je voudrais changer :

le bouton secondaire s'apelle "images/bouton2.jpg"

Je n'arrive pas a adapter le menu vertical (a gauche) a la taille (verticale) du contenu a sa droite
En fait j aimerais que le cadre vert appele "images/12.jpg" s etire et s adapte a la taille du contenu
