Hello,
the screen of my PHILIPS phone displays ""MSG waiting" and keeps flashing continuously. How do I fix the problem?
In my absence, calls are received by my PC and deleted after reading. I can no longer be notified of a new call. My operator is Neuf Cégétel.

Hello!
Same problem with the same operator (Neuf Box)
The red light is constantly on and it says MSG ATT.)
If anyone has a solution, please kindly share it with me
THANK YOU! -
5.8.7 Turn off the voicemail message waiting indicator
Depending on your country, this feature may not
appear in the menu.
If you have subscribed to the voicemail service
with your operator, the [closed envelope icon] lights up when you have a new message
in your voicemail. If you have listened to all
the new messages, this icon turns off
automatically. If the icon does not turn off by itself from the network, you can
turn it off manually by following these steps:
In standby mode, if the voicemail message waiting icon is lit, press and hold the [button at the top right with the 3 arrows and the slashed box] to turn off the indicator.
It's simple and it works! -
First of all, I also freaked out, but I found a simple yet complicated solution. Let me explain: you unplug your phone base and take it to one of your friends (everyone has at least one), you plug it into their phone line and set the number for their voicemail. Then, you call your friend's line, leave a message on their line, and then access your phone using your friend's voicemail number to delete your message. It worked for me, and I'm very happy.
Don't forget to take your phone back home and reconfigure your voicemail.

-> Serv. res.
-> Voicemail
-> Settings
-> Voicemail number
-> Ok-

Hello,
thank you for your help; I will make sure to try your solution as soon as I can, and I will inform you of the result. My son-in-law, an excellent computer scientist, has given up, as have others who are more experienced than I am. I will take my phone to him in about two weeks..
Have a good evening&e -

Hello, to solve a problem with a pending message, here is the radical solution: call 3900. Please be patient and have a mobile phone ready. In 5 minutes, dream! No more red light on Philips CD 440.

Hello,
I have a Philips CD440 and the same symptoms (MSG EN ATT.) so I searched online and tried all the proposed solutions without ever succeeding.
But here's what I found:
I have a Freebox (V4) in unbundled mode with a XXX brand phone connected to it. My Philips CD440 is connected behind a Linksys PAP2T, using Free's freephonie SIP on the same telephone line. My Free account is set up to send incoming calls to the Freebox (thus the XXX phone). My Philips phone is only used to make calls when the FreeBox line is busy (thank you my dear ones for your patience).
The red light was constantly flashing and the message MSG en ATT. was displayed.
I went to my Free account, phone section, then "my services" and I disabled the voicemail. So if a call doesn't go through and the voicemail of the XXX phone doesn't pick it up, I lose the call since the Freebox voicemail is deactivated (they can just call back if they really want to reach us).
The red light is still flashing and the message is present. I then unplugged the PAP2T (the adapter for SIP) and plugged it back in: the red light is off and the message has disappeared.
Conclusion likely valid regardless of the provider: disable the telephone provider's voicemail and only leave your own voicemail.
If this can help ........................... Claude

Hello,
We have a CD440, a 9box, and the same problem as everyone else...
The phone's constant blinking whenever we receive a message.
We "simply" solved the problem after many unsuccessful attempts following various readings of the forums.
Here's what works for us:
we configured the 1 key to call *9
upon receiving a new msg:
- start by checking the call list (parchemin) -> the parchment disappears and the msg "msg en attente" appears
- then it's possible to listen to the msg with a long press on 1 but DO NOT delete it!!!
- to make the blinking go away, turn on the PC :o( then check your voicemails
- the blinking disappears at the exact moment you click "listen" (then possibly delete the msg)
I hope this procedure brings a smile to more than one person ;o) -
Everything was flashing and I could no longer make calls: keyboard locked.
I pressed and held int while also pressing 1 and everything unlocked.
Your turn!
