About identity for SIM card purchase Solved

Hello,

I would like to buy an SFR La Carte SIM card soon (without the phone, of course).

I would like to know if it is necessary to provide my identity to SFR (I checked with SFR, and they require a form of ID), or if it is possible to buy an SFR SIM card anonymously in a store (similar to the Universal Mobile cards sold at newsstands). Do small shops in Paris (like France GSM) ask for an ID?

If you're in Paris or the Paris region, anonymous SIM cards are sold in Barbès, you can also find them at the Montreuil market. Otherwise, buy a card called Ortel, I think, they usually don't ask for ID, and it costs 10 euros.
