Encrypted video playback

Hello,

I sent a video by email to my friend, and at my place, I viewed it perfectly, but at hers, the video
is practically encrypted and shows just a green color?

We both have the same player, which is Windows Media Player 10

Could you please help me solve the problem? Thank you.

    It's probably a codec issue. Play the video with VLC, or install the K-Lite Codec Pack.

        ;-) Well Nabla's, I haven't tried VLC for the simple reason that I can't update Windows.... I'm going to post another message, because I'm not in the right place here :-D

        VLC is not a Microsoft product, you don’t need to update Windows to install or run it. Even if that were the case, an older version might solve the problem. You can download it here: VLC
        Thanks for the nice August 15th, but it’s not a holiday for me… however, it’s my last day of work, so it’s time to relax :D
