Problem with Cyberlink YouCam

Hello,

I'm explaining my problem. I have the Cyberlink YouCam software with all the effects... and this morning when I tried to take photos, there were no effects left. I don't know how they disappeared; they were all there last night. How can I get them back?

If someone could help me.

    Hello,
    on my end, I just can't open my CyberLink YouCam webcam anymore; when I click on it, it simply doesn't open! If I click on uninstall, will everything be deleted, or will I have the option to reinstall it?

      I have the same problem, I uninstalled it and now I want to reinstall it, but when I click on it to open it, it doesn't show up, it's nonsense.
      I no longer have the software on my computer now.

      For YouCam, try right-clicking and then selecting "Run as administrator." It works for me. Good luck!

    I have a problem with my camera as well, at startup it shows "Unable to connect to this video device, please select another capture device or configuration or close all applications that may be using this video device."

    But nothing is open!!

    Hello,

    I haven't been able to get my webcam to work on my laptop since last night.
    I wanted to talk to my girlfriend on Skype, so I made a "video call," and the sound for both of us was working, her webcam was fine, but mine stayed with a black screen and the blue light on my PC doesn't turn on anymore :s

    I tried updating with a new version, but nothing works on MSN either; same problem. And if I just want to take photos/videos on my PC, it doesn't work either. I don't know what to do, and it's embarrassing because I can't show my face when I'm talking to my girlfriend :s

    Hello, my Cyberlyk YouCam webcam is not working with MSN Messenger. I reinstalled the program, but the problem still exists.
    What can I do to make it work?

      Since you had a problem with your Cyberlink webcam and MSN on September 3rd, 2009, and today being December 26th, 2009, I thought that you might have found a solution over the past 3 months!!!!! If you could guide me in resolving my issue, that would be really nice! Thank you.

      It's simple, you open MSN, then you click on TOOLS, then CONFIGURE AUDIO VIDEO. Next, a small Cyberyoucam window will pop up, you click on OK, and finally you choose either default or Cyberyoucam or disable or example Phelips... I hope it works for us.

      By the way, if someone wants to reconnect their camera that is not working anymore, go to MSN, then to audio/video configuration tools, and select the camera as the default. It is marked as default, USB video device.

    same thing I bought a PC it had the YouCam software with the filters and avatar the first time I opened it the second time nothing .....

    Hello, my problem is that I can't install Cyberlink Youcam 3.1. I got a message saying that I need to stop MSN, so I logged out and closed MSN and clicked on Retry, but it didn't work.

    Can you help me?

    You import with the folder icon, it takes you to the Cyberlink site, you download it and it installs automatically.

    Hello, I had practically the same problem as you the day before yesterday.
    Two years ago, I bought my computer with the Cyberlink software and YouCam (v2) integrated, and it worked very well until now.
    I wanted to open YouCam, and a small window indicated: Cyberlink YouCam has stopped working, to my great astonishment. Analyzing various possibilities of errors on my part, such as inadvertently deleting files or something else, I decided to go digging in the C drive, and in Windows, I found the Cyberlink and YouCam files, reinstalled them and it works again.

    Hi, I have a little issue and I'm not sure if you could help me out a bit more
    So I bought my PC two days ago and when I make a video with music playing in the background, you can hear me really well but the music in the background crackles like a radio that can't pick up a signal, it's really bad. Are there any codecs to install or something? Thank you.

    Hello everyone, I had the same problem and after searching on different blogs, I finally understood. Cyberlink YouCam is a paid software and you had it at the beginning as a trial period. If you need to use your Msn or anything else, go to the settings and choose HP Cam.

    I also have a problem with Cyberlink YouCam, but it's completely different.
    When I launch the software to take photos, everything is fine, but when I want to configure it for use with Windows Live Messenger, it shows "Windows Live has stopped working" every time I try!

    Please help me.

      slt, I wanted to know if you managed to connect to MSN??? If you're with Orange, you need to go to your antivirus firewall, then to the internet protection tab and disable the remote access control (don’t worry, your antivirus will still work) and restart your computer before connecting to MSN!!!! See you!

      Miiimiii, did you get a response? Normally, it can be found in this document in a folder; you just need to transfer the photos to your images. After that, they have good quality. I have the same problem as some of you; my Youcam software has completely disappeared, I can't find it anymore, and it won't start when I start a video call on MSN; it shuts down MSN completely.
