Hello,
I am reaching out because I have lost the license number for a program but I have all the CDs for reinstallation.
The software is currently installed on my PC, but I need to format my PC due to slowness and an overload of unnecessary software.
I have a .lic file in the program folder but I cannot read it. When I open it with Notepad, I see very strange characters!!!
Do you have a solution for me to open this file to retrieve the license number so that I can reinstall my program afterwards?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Anixela

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.16
Actually, during the installation of the software, it asked me for a license key...which I can't seem to find...so I was thinking I could retrieve it from this file...
Otherwise, do you think if I copy all the folders included in the main program folder onto my hard drive after formatting, I could use my software?
But I would really like to get my hands on my license!!!
In any case, thank you for the help you will provide me.
Best regards,
Anixela
No, copying the folder to your hard drive after formatting won't make the software work.
Are you sure the license was written on paper?
Don't you have the software CD anymore?
