Hello, having broken down with my remote control, I found your forum... after trying all the different manipulations without success, I decided to take apart the remote... since my son keeps chewing on it... a good cleaning with alcohol and everything is resolved... it's working again... phew!
Note that it's a bit difficult to unclip, a good flat screwdriver did the trick...

also try using alkaline batteries (some saline batteries don't have enough power)
