nothing like that but I found at least I think
I connected my screen to the motherboard slot (integrated graphics card) and everything works so I conclude that my graphics card is dead... I’m not a very big expert but oh well

I have a similar problem, it seems. I turned off my PC running Vista (<start shut="" down=""> and not: start / "drop-down menu" shut down) for those who are still following. I believe this puts the PC into sleep mode at that moment.
