Problem: no video input

Hello,

I assembled my new components: AMD 4000+ processor, 1 GB of Corsair Value RAM, 8600GT graphics card with an ECS (Elitegroup) motherboard and a 420 watt LC Power ATX 2 power supply. Once all the parts were assembled and connected, my black screen displays "Warning: no video input" at every startup and stays on this message.
The computer powers on, the fans are running, and the CD drive works. I checked everything but I'm stuck.
Moreover, I’m missing a cable for the motherboard power supply, but I read on a forum that it's normal...

That’s it

Your help would be appreciated

Thanks

You should already give us this information.

Then you talk about which “cable” of the motherboard?!?

Are you sure about your connections for the motherboard?

What type of memory do you have?

    Regards
