Hello,
I just bought an Acer DLP X1160 projector, but it was delivered without a user guide.
I tried to set it up with my DVD player (without going through the PC) but I don't have any signal.
My first question is whether the device can be connected directly without using a PC.
If so, how should I do it?
Thank you in advance.

Hello, I bought one a year and a half ago, and I am completely satisfied with it. It is silent, has a beautiful picture, and after 2000 hours of use, it still works just as well.

Hello
Yes, you can connect a DVD player; you need a video cable with a yellow end
The yellow one is located behind the projector, and you need the same on the DVD player. -
How did you connect it to the DVD player? Which input, I mean ;-))
Did you change the inputs in the menu of your DVD player? For example: Connect via S-Video; in the DVD menu set the input to S-Video. -
Good evening,
I’m planning to buy this model as well, and I’m wondering if we could connect it to the living room DVD player, for example, or only with a PC??
Thank you for your response. -
Hello, I am currently using the ACER X1160p projector by connecting it with the VGA port. But I would like to know if it is possible to connect this projector using the provided USB port. If not, what is its purpose? Thank you for your response, which I hope will be quick and effective. (It's for work). Thank you.
Best regards
