Hello,
I worked on an A4 poster using Adobe Illustrator (with zero white margins around it), which I then converted to PDF (the PDF is perfect, with no margins).
However, when I try to print this PDF, my printer adds white margins that do not appear on the screen in the PDF document! I know it needs a few mm to hold the paper, but still! It ruins my poster!!!!
Do you know how I can prevent these white margins from appearing when printing a PDF?
Thank you for your response!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

If the printer is designed to print borderless, there’s no problem, but it needs to be designed for that... and that’s not common in a full format.
The other solution is to use larger paper (still if the printer allows it) and trim afterwards, either cutting it down to a smaller size...
In a design studio, we use A3+ printers, as this allows for borderless printing or better yet, with bleed to trim later on the cut lines.
