Counter Strike Issue (gfx.wad file)

Hello there
I've been playing Counter-Strike 1.6 non-Steam for a long time, but a few days ago I formatted my PC.
So I downloaded CS from this site (www.wled-7ouma.org) and the V23B patch from this site (www.tunisiagames.com).
I installed CS and tried it; it worked normally. But when I installed the patch, it stopped working, and I got an error that says ""W_loadWadFile: couldn't load gfx.wad""
I searched through all the conversations and couldn't find a solution, so thank you for getting back to me ;-) 
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.1

    I have the same problem in cs1.6, an error message; W_loadwadfile: couldn't load gfx.wad
    (uninstall and reinstall) or (download the GFX.WAD file to replace it) I tried everything
    here is the solution I don't know how or why but it worked well
    the problem with gfx.wad comes from Counter-Strike it's not a patch
    redownload cs non-steam [CounterStrike_1.6_from_VSI_Version_1.02.exe] you can find it
    install the patch don't forget the location

      Me too, I have the same problem but I have Counter Strike VSI VERSION, but when I installed the patch v21 I have the same problem.

    Hi everyone, to solve the problem you need to download the complete GFX folder and replace it in the valve\cstrike location.

    It's all good, I saw that you just need to reinstall it and leave the default location.
