Drivers for Canon CanoScan N656U Scanner

Hello friends,
I am looking for the installation driver for my Canon Canoscan N656U USB scanner under Microsoft Windows XP.
Please help me as I have no other solution except that I have just reinstalled the PC.

    because it doesn't accept the XP version
    even when running the program in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode.

      Hello Nix,

      I just got the same CanoScan N656 U as you from my parents and I have Vista, but in 32-bit.
      I don't know if this will help you, but I found drivers at http://www.clubic.com/telecharger-pilote-1148-0-canon-canoscan-n656u.html
      Then I downloaded Canon ScanGear CS-U 5.7.1b
      I manually installed my scanner (I had to specify the folder where the drivers are located)
      Finally, I installed an OCR software (in this case Free Scanner) and it works perfectly. But of course I don't know about 64-bit, since I'm not very good with computers.
