dropdown source validation issue Solved

Question

Hello,
I am currently creating an Excel file to calculate the cost of works. In my main sheet, I have all the areas of a building (Column A), the number of square meters (Column B), and the price per square meter (Column C). My user wants to be able to choose from a dropdown list the price per square meter based on previous projects.
So far, I have managed to do this thanks to all the discussions; I have defined my list names (one for each area, that is A266:B271, which corresponds to a range of cells), but when I go to Tools/Validation/List/Source and type =ListeVestiaires, the following message appears: "The source list must be delimited or refer to a single row or column."

Thank you all for your help; I have over 100 areas to fill in, and I really don't understand where I made a mistake.

Hello again,

thank you very much micami83 for your help, but indeed I really need my two columns; the first one with the name of the project and the second one with the cost; it's the cost that should be transferred to my file.
Indeed, it works with just one column

If someone else has already had this issue ....

Hello,

according to what you’re writing, your list is in 2 columns; could your problem be coming from that? If you delete column B and try your dropdown list, does it work?
however, I don’t know how to guide you to create a dropdown list with 2 columns. I’m sorry.

Good evening,

I didn't understand what your 100 zones are... But anyway, in case you need just one dropdown list in your sheet, and not a dropdown in each cell of a column, you can use a ComboBox control.

For the ColumnCount property, set it to 2
For the BoundColumn property, set it to 2
For the ListFillRange property, set it to the reference of the two-column list
For the LinkedCell property, set it to the reference of the cell that should contain the cost.

Thank you for your information. In fact, my 100 areas correspond to 100 cells, each with a drop-down list containing different information.
For Vaucluse, I have the operation you described in my file; I do have a VLOOKUP (cell; mylist; column2)
and that's where it gets stuck because I get the following message: "The source list must be delimited or refer to a single row or column." It won't allow me to select a range of cells.
