I turned off my PC during a restore!

Hello,

I just made a big mistake. I was starting a system restore to a previous date and I wanted to interrupt the restoration by shutting down the PC. The result is that it restarts but hangs on a screen that says in white on a blue background:

"STOP: c0000221 (Image checksum verified) the file url.dll may be damaged. The checksum of the header does not match the calculated checksum."

And there you go, I tried to get it to start in safe mode but it's impossible; I always return to this screen!

If you know how I can get out of this, thank you in advance for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP

Hello,

When starting the PC, during the BIOS loading, you need to tap the F8 key until a DOS screen appears with several options such as starting in safe mode, the same with network support, normal startup, etc.

There is an option called "start with the last known good configuration." You need to select this option (using the up-down arrow keys) and then press "enter," and normally, the PC should restart normally.

From there, it should no longer be necessary to perform a restoration since it will have been done... but if necessary, for example, in case of returning to the situation that led to the decision to perform the restoration, it is possible.
