Hello everyone,
As part of my internship, I have the opportunity to familiarize myself with an Arkoon firewall. I need to configure it and everything that goes with it!
With little knowledge of security, I am completely discovering this software and therefore need your help!!!
I have been given an Arkoon Fast360.
I followed the instructions in the Guide (plugged in the crossover cable, the communication cable on COM1...) and now, I need to retrieve the license. For that, I don't have a wizard (I've been told not to use it but to configure it "manually"), but the SecureCRT software (from Vandyke). When I want to connect to the firewall through CRT (I enter its default address mentioned in the guide)... it doesn't work! "Connection to .... failed - Timed out".
I know that I need to connect to the firewall as the user "root", but I don't know how to do that! So, I'm looking but can't find it... =/
Could you help me configure this firewall...?
