Chkdsk at every startup

Solved

Hello,

every time I start up, chkdsk runs a disk check but after concluding that there are no errors, it gets stuck on the same screen.

I have to restart and press a key before chkdsk starts again.

How can I disable it or make it proceed after its analysis?
Thank you for your help :)

    I have the miracle method:

    Start--> run--> regedt32
    Go to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager.
    Change the BootExecute value from:
    autocheck autochk *
    to:
    autocheck autochk /k:x *

      A million thanks for this trick which worked perfectly in my case. Seeing that f***ing chkdsk at every startup was either I found a solution or it was a old size 42 caterpillar kick!!! So thanks for:

      - my PC,
      - my shoes,
      - my feet,
      - my nerves!!!!
