Hello,
my LCD screen of my Sony DCR HC39E camcorder is not working anymore, has anyone had this same problem? is it repairable? if so, roughly what price?

      Good evening, after looking around, there is another post on this forum that talks about this problem, that you’re not the only person to have... it’s the internal ribbon cable linking the screen and the camera that’s cut.

    Good evening,
    same problem as you all, my screen no longer works. I’m doomed to shoot without it (we adapt easily) but the most annoying part is that you can’t adjust your camcorder anymore (language, image format, ...).
    Long live group actions so that Sony takes charge of this problem that they know about.

    Hello,

    I’m following up on the subject after 5 years... and I’ve found the solution. The motherboard is cut, the reference is FP-185, it costs €40 if you repair it yourself (well within reach, it’s not very complicated). Expect to pay more if you have someone else do it.
