Hello,
I just installed a Samsung SyncMaster 245b, 24", as my primary display, with my Acer Aspire 1350 laptop screen as the secondary display. Everything went well with the installation, but since it's a widescreen monitor, I should be set to a resolution of 1920 x 1200, but Windows only offers a maximum of 1600 x 1200. I think that's why the resolution isn't optimal; the fonts are slightly blurry, and there's a stretched appearance in width for images and icons. I believe that if I can't switch to 1600 x 1200, it's because my graphics card is a bit too old for this (VIA/S3G KN400/KM400, 64MB). I just want to know if I'm mistaken or if there's a way to switch to 1600 x 1200 without changing my graphics card. Thank you in advance.

This limitation is generally due to the graphics card.
It may be capable of displaying 1900 x 1200 on a single screen, but in dual display mode, the resolutions are limited. -
Thank you for your response Badlou, I think I'll have to change the graphics card indeed. Even with a single screen, it doesn't support 1600 x 1200.
