[Windows XP] White screen on startup

Hello, I've had an issue with my PC since yesterday. When I start my PC, everything works perfectly except that my screen doesn't display anything and stays white!! I have to wait a bit, and when I click on "power" or on the screen, everything returns to normal. This morning, the same thing happened; when starting up, my screen was white. What’s strange is that when I restart my PC, my screen turns on normally. I don’t know where this could be coming from. I already changed my graphics card, so I don't think that's it! If someone could explain to me why I have a white screen at startup, that would be really nice! Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows XP

Hello, have you installed any updates recently? Maybe a new graphics driver? The screen is all white, showing nothing on it? And when you power it on, does it display the image normally?

Hello to you. Regarding the updates, yes I made some recently. I restored my system, but I don't think it will do much good.. When I start Windows, the screen displays white with nothing on it. So I don’t see my desktop appearing. I have to click on my screen randomly or press Power and after a few moments, everything works perfectly, I no longer see the white screen but my desktop. I don't know where it could come from. My graphics card? I don't think so, I changed it not long ago. As I mentioned, however, when I restart my PC, my screen turns on normally, that's what's strange.

It seems then that it might come from the graphics card drivers. Try reinstalling them, maybe that's all it is. Otherwise, I really don't see where it could come from because if it were your screen, it should do that all the time.

You go to the manufacturer’s website of your graphics card and download the latest version of the drivers for your card; you need the full name of your card. The drivers install automatically, and if they are already installed, it updates them.
