File "NULL" to open live messenger

Hello, I cannot access the Messenger email box, Windows cannot find "NULL". I properly uninstalled Messenger and reinstalled it correctly, but the same issue persists... I should mention that yesterday I downloaded XP Antispy and XP Safe, and since encountering the blockage with the email box, I uninstalled both programs properly... thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 2.0.0.14

    Hi

    You just made a small mistake during the installation. Starting over from scratch is pointless.
    Redownload the Windows Live Installer and install it over the existing one, making sure to check MAIL.
    It will tell you that the connection assistant is already installed and will install the mailbox.

    I forgot, you then need to reconfigure your messenger data and then you have access to it.
