Hello,
I just bought a Polaroid TLU-01542 W LCD TV with built-in TNT. I can't automatically tune the channels. Everything is scrambled. I’ve set the country to France, but then I can't see what the manual talks about on the screen; will I need to call the installer to sort this out?
Thank you in advance.

Hello...
Try playing with the input "source" to access the menu (AV1, AV2, EXT1....)
Are the connections correct?
What else is connected in your setup?
Did you have TNT before this purchase?
Are you at least receiving the terrestrial channels?...
Many questions, I know, but if you want us to advise you...
Best regards,
See you later

The connections are good because I plugged the new device into an outlet with a wire that works well when I plug in the old device.
I have 3 old TVs, so no digital terrestrial television and nothing but normal channels, no cable and no Canal+ either, no satellite. What I didn't understand, and this must be where I messed everything up, is "Select the appropriate AV source";
What is the "AV" source? What does it correspond to on the remote control?
Everything is messed up because I have distorted images that move all over the place. Can the TV be restored to its previous state, meaning as if nothing had been done?

What I don't understand in the manual is "Select the corresponding AV source." What does "AV source" mean?
Now, I think I have messed everything up because I have images that are all scrambled and moving around in all directions.
Can the TV be reset to its original state, as if I hadn't touched anything?
Thank you.
The AV source = audio-video
In principle, there should be a button that allows you to scroll through AV1, AV2...
Could you send me a photo of the manual, on the page describing the remote control, by email?

See you later!
I don’t have a scanner; but the remote control has an "input" button and on it a button "ATV/OTV" between the 2 rectangles that allow changing channels (+ or -) and increasing or decreasing the volume (+, -). It’s a normal remote control. But I should at least be receiving the other channels.
Thank you.
The place of residence: is it the city or the neighborhood you are talking about? Or even the building, if applicable?
Some old antennas are not sufficient to receive the TNT, some do not capture it at all, others only a few channels...
The "input" button should allow you to select the source, see what it does...
On the other hand, ATV/OTV????!!! Analog TV? So that would be the setting for terrestrial channels! To be verified...
To receive the "normal" channels, you should not be on digital; you need to find out how to do it. Without a photo of the remote or the page of the manual, I am "all in", sorry! ;(
You have nothing to lose trying all the buttons that might work; if it doesn’t, you can press "exit" or "return," "menu"… or a rounded arrow in the counterclockwise direction...
To be continued... Best regards,
