Hello CBR-User,
I had the same message after rebuilding Windows XP, update to SP3 and then Reinstall of CBRv35B535_English.exe.
You have to update the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator to a newer Version (may be 2.08) for Microsoft Windows XP Initiator-2.08-build3825-x86fre.exe and then reboot the System. You can download it from www.microsoft.com.
After that open the "iSCSI Initiator Control Panel Applet" from the system board and remove all entries regarding to CBR. In my case I had to remove anything.
Log (via Internet Explorer) into your NAS and remove the old backup sets of your PC, if there is not enough space.
Then start the CBR again and protect your disk. - Good Luck
Best regards
