Good evening, since I signed up on sites (which I will not name) offering reception and emission of µtorrent, I noticed that the download goes very fast, up to 400. But the upload is not moving: 0 (1 to 2 when the download is finished)
So, obviously, the ratio stagnates even when the download is done. I would have to stay connected for days and nights to have a correct ratio (at least 1).
Do you have any advice on this subject? Thank you.

Hi everyone,
do you want to easily increase your ratio? I found the solution and it works,
1 download: greedytorrent (either by going on Google or telecharger.com, etc...)
2 install: once downloaded, install the software like any other until you have its little logo on your desktop
3 configure: * open utorrent 1.8.5 (if lower version, same)
* left click on the yellow gear (if lower version, left click "option" (at the top of the page) then "preference"
* in the left table: left click on connection
* still in the table but on the right in type: HTTP
Proxy: localhost
port: 3456 then validate with ok
4 in greedy torrent: put 1000 or a little less 800 in "report my upload as" and close
and enjoy watching your ratio on torrent sites climb, so you can download whatever you want without worrying about anything,
PS: before downloading on a site, open greedytorrent and utorrent in the quick taskbar, when finished, close either just greedy torrent or both, your choice,
there you go,,,

If you want to adjust the Uploads, go to Preferences => Connections => Maximum Upload, and in the white box, enter "0".
HELLO HELLO!!!
With all this, you're heading for a brick wall. For the second time, I'm going to share the recipe for the magic potion on this site. But be careful (especially for those with a very high-speed connection), you might fall into it, and your 1TB Hard Drives will fill up quickly...
To start, go to Start menu, then Run
Go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEMCurrentControlSet/Services/Tcpip/Parameters"
Right-click and select "Add a new DWORD value" which you will call "TcpNumConnections" (copy-paste it)
Then right-click on the new key -> modify
Change the value "fffffe" to hexadecimal.
Leave it at 0
and that's it, the pot is full, and you will forget about your ratios and revel in torrent downloads. Your main problems will be how to store all my downloads and where to find new sources because from now on, anything below 50Ko/s feels slow.
So, thanks to who? ;)
Oh yes, by the way: This trick was given for Windows XP SP2, but it works very well on Windows 7 (64). For Vista and Windows 7 (32), I don't know. So if any of you have that, please indicate it.
Normally, the best response is me, so if Gunostash can mark the topic as resolved, that would be COOOL.

Hello
I apologize for the late response, the problem has been resolved since I went to "preferences". Thank you.

Hi, I'm currently facing the same problem. My download can reach 700-800 KB/s per file, but I'm only uploading at a maximum of 1, which is really annoying for other users. It's neither a question of upload limit nor router configuration or port forwarding. I can achieve a decent level on other P2P networks, so it's really a problem with torrents (regardless of the software :s).
Does anyone have any idea?
Thanks in advance.

Bonjour ; tu peux télécharger et utiliser Ratiomaster pour faire du dévers, que tu seed jusqu'à 15 Mo/s.
Hello everyone, I tried to install greedy and I'm sure I configured it correctly with Utorrent, but it didn't work because the downloads and even the sharing stop (they mark in red) and I get the message 'proxy error: host not found' or 'no connection could be established ... could you tell me what I should do?
Hi, I did everything you said. I took Greddy Torrent, I set 3456 on µTorrent, the ratio goes up to about 112, but I see 0.1 kB on µTorrent, yet it's still downloading. Is that normal?
And I still have the red icon with listening error at the bottom.
In Windows 7 firewall, I added Greddy Torrent and checked the small box for public; is that good?
I also saw in advanced settings 3 Greddy Torrents and only one had the small check; I then checked the small box for all three.
And I also added the port on the router's website, but it's not downloading fast enough.

what does the 4 in greedy torrent mean!!! give me news please!!! Thanks in advance!!!
Number 4: actually in Greedy, you can control your ratio yourself, hence the 800 or 1000,
you don't have to put that much; this box lets you enter a number to manage your ratio if you don't have enough to download from P2P sites,
actually when you start the download, the info between Greedy and the tracker will exchange, don't worry when I say tracker it's not a person but its server that will see you have (800 ratio for example) and will unlock your download,
but it will also allow you to quickly increase your ratio during the download; 800 is a mix of ratio and what you have shared virtually, it's like you had shared a file with a huge number of people for a year, lol
So that's it for the start; put what you want, 100 is fine, it's up to you, however once you have your ratio well increased, just use uTorrent; otherwise, you'll end up with an exorbitant ratio and the tracker might notice and ban you. I maintain a ratio of 34, and it works well; when you see it dip, just reset Greedy, etc.,
to disable Greedy, you just need to go to uTorrent, Tools/Preferences/Connection and set the TYPE box to "none" and to switch back to HTTP
HOWEVER, some downloads might take a bit longer sometimes you have to wait a bit (5 mins)
So it's a bit long, but I hope I've informed you; if sometimes the movie download doesn't go through, (IT DEPENDS ON THE TRACKERS) download a random CD to boost your ratio in Greedy and start the download, even if you delete the CD, it will have increased your ratio,
That's it,,,,
I am using Windows XP SP3 and I had to open the ports in my firewall,
opening the ports does not mean that the firewall will let anything pass and not protect me, no, it's just to allow it to let the incoming and outgoing connections of Greedy pass through,
if you have to do it, start menu, control panel/windows firewall/ exceptions: in the box click add a port,
name; GreedyTorrent
port; 3456
valid ok and it's done check that in the Greedy table it is there and that its box is checked with a cross ,,,
Thanks for the tips ;)
How long does it take for my ratio to start increasing?
I have installed Greedy correctly, but after the configuration, all my downloading files turn red without downloading. Could you please enlighten me on this little problem? Thank you all.
